Geoff appointed as new king of the castle
The new manager of Warwick Castle is Geoff Spooner, who has spent the past two years as operations director of Legoland in Windsor, which is also part of the Merlin Entertainments Group.
The 35-year-old has moved his family to Warwickshire and says he’s looking forward to building on the success of recent extra attractions like the Unlocked rooms, Horrible Histories and medieval ‘glamping’.
Geoff added: “The castle occupies a special position at the heart of British history and we take seriously our role as custodians.”
