Girls in X Factor feud are friends again

THE X FACTOR duo whose audition ended in a punch up will soon appear on television again - this time wearing boxing gloves.

Abbey Johnstone, who lives in Lillington, became famous after striking her best friend Lisa Parker on the ITV show last month.

The pair are now friends again and have been filmed having lessons in fighting and self-defence at Cleary’s Gym in Leamington.

The footage will be aired on Sunday’s Xtra Factor.

Abbey said: “Lisa and I are friends again and we took part in the latest filming to show that we aren’t as bad as we were made out to be at our audition.

“Since X Factor I’ve learnt to deal with my anger a lot better, like not to punch someone on TV.

“To be honest though I’ll be happy when the whole thing is over because our lives have gone crazy since the show.”

Edwin Cleary, owner of the gym, said: “It was fun watching the Xtra Factor team film and it was a good experience for some of my staff who will appear on the footage with the girls.”

The twosome are also expected to take part in mud wrestling at KoKos in Leamington on Thursday November 4 at 8pm.
