Grandparents give aprons to cooking club

MEMBERS of an after school cookery club are delighted they now ‘look the part’ thanks to a donation by their grandparents.

The pupils at Newburgh Primary School in Kipling Avenue, Warwick, have been given brand new aprons with the club’s logo on the front.

The donation was a complete surprise for the youngsters.

Andrew Smith, the school’s headteacher, said: “At Newburgh we aim to provide as many opportunities as possible for children both in and out of school.

“Learning how to cook has been a great experience for these children.

“The aprons have added to their identity too.”
