“The models and dancers from Starlight Dance school were brilliant.”

Clare was actually born on the hair salon premises in High Street in the late 1950s.

The salon was set up by her mother Ann Hay - a respected hairdresser who is thought to have been the first in Daventry to actually colour hair.

When she left school, Clare trained in London and worked alongside her mother for more than 20 years.

Clare said: “I’d like to thank everybody who supported the show.”
