Since the first run in April 2011 almost 8,000 people have completed the five kilometre course around Newbold Comyn and there have been 1,000 volunteers.

The runs are free for people to take part in and start at the comyn’s pavilion on Saturdays at 9am.

Plans are afoot to hold other events at Warwick Racecourse and in Stratford with Parkrun getting national coverage.
