Hospital scores highly in staff satisfaction survey

WARWICK Hospital has been rated in the top 20 per cent of all hospital trusts in the country in a Government-led staff survey.

The study, which is based on the views of staff from both trust hospitals and community services, found that those who work for the South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Warwick Hospital, are more satisfied with their job compared to those in other trusts.

The trust scored in line with the best result nationally when staff were asked whether they felt valued by their colleagues and an above average number of employees said they felt satisfied with the quality of work and patient care they were able to provide.

The trust’s chief executive Glen Burley said: “I strongly believe that motivated staff deliver the best care to patients and am very proud that our leadership team has performed so well in communication, training and direction setting.

“The trust continues to work hard in supporting all of our staff so that they can deliver the best care possible.”
