Jubilee bench is unveiled
A WINNING designer has unveiled a special bench to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee at a Leamington school.
Ten-year-old Ollie Turner won Warwickshire County Council’s competition to design a commemorative bench to celebrate the landmark.
The St Patrick’s Primary School pupil’s design was selected for the creation of a specially-crafted bench, which has now taken pride of place at the school, after Ollie unveiled it recently.
The council’s forestry team is also planting a commemorative tree at the school’s entrance.
