After the village celebrated the recent event for Queen Elizabeth II, there remained some funds which formed the core funding for a permanent memorial.
The parish council lead a fundraising campaign for the sign, which is similar to one which was put up at the start of the last century to mark Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee.
