Kenilworth man killed in car crash in Leek Wootton

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a fatal road traffic collision in Leek Wootton.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft

The incident happened on the A46 towards A452 Leamington turn off at around 5.20pm on Friday.

A black Vauxhall Meriva was travelling at this location when it was in collision with a heavy goods vehicle, which was parked in a lay-by.

The driver of the Vauxhall Meriva, a 40-year-old man from Kenilworth, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or the circumstances leading up to it. Information can be given to PC 1616 Pennington of the Operational Patrol Unit in Rugby on 01926 415415, quoting incident 297 of Friday February 27.
