Kenilworth MP's surprise appearance on '˜Pointless'

Jeremy Wright MP made a surprise appearance on TV last night - as an answer on the BBC show '˜Pointless'.

On the show, contestants must give answers to questions they think no-one else would have said and earn the least amount of points possible, with the best answers being ‘pointless.’

And in this case, the Kenilworth and Southam MP was a pointless answer when contestants were asked to name any member of the cabinet on the episode broadcast on Thursday April 21.

Mr Wright’s frontbench position as Attorney General was apparently unknown to the 100 people asked, as was Greg Hands MP, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, and John Whittingdale MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport.
