Kenilworth pensioner rescued after collapse
An elderly Kenilworth man was rescued by an air ambulance crew after collapsing in his house.
The 67-year old collapsed yesterday afternoon (Monday) after suffering from seizures.
West Midlands Ambulance Service were first on the scene and called for assistance from Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, which used a rapid response vehicle to get to the patient and arrived at the scene five minutes after leaving their base at Coventry Airport.
The crew successfully sedated the man before immobilising him and taking him to the University Hospital in Coventry.
