Kenilworth residents invited to vote on town's policing priorities

Residents are being invited to have their say on the police's priorities in Kenilworth and Burton Green over the next few months.

People can vote for what they think police should focus on before the next Kenilworth Community Forum, which will be held on Monday March 13 in the Kenilworth Centre at 6.45pm.

The options are: High-visibility burglary patrols in Burton Green to prevent and detect offences and provide reassurance to the community.

The forum follows a spike in crime during 2016, which saw yearly figures the highest they had been for at least five years. Inspector Dafydd Goddard of Warwickshire Police said police operations have been deployed to try and combat the rise.

Abnyone wishing to vote before the meeting can do so here, and there will be an opportunity to contribute at the forum itself.
