Ladies group’s new home with Age UK

Age UK Warwickshire in Leamington has provided a new home for a group for Asian ladies which was under threat of closure due to funding cuts.
The Milan Asian Ladies Group has found a new home at the Age UK activity centre in Clemens Street, Leamington.  At the official launch on Monday Liz Kershaw (BBC Radio Presenter and Age UK Patron) enjoyed a 'cuppa' with the group's co-ordinator Narinder Kang.

The Milan Asian Ladies Group, which is open to women aged 60 and over, will now meet at the charity’s Activity Centre in Clemens Street every Monday from 10am to 2pm. Age UK Warwickshire’s chief executive Elizabeth Phillips and BBC presenter Liz Kershaw, who is a patron for the charity, were at the relaunch of the group. For more information call 458100.
