Leamington attack leaves man unconscious

POLICE are on the look out for a gang who left a 20-year-old man unconscious after beating him up.

The attack, by three males, took place in Clarendon Avenue, Leamington at around 2.45am on Saturday November 13.

A witness has reported seeing the three men kicking and punching the man as he lay on the floor. He was left unconscious in the road with cuts and bruising to his face, bleeding heavily and with a broken nose and possible fractured cheek bone.

He was taken to Warwick Hospital where he was detained over night.

The attackers were all described as males, one was a white man, around 5ft 6inches tall, of medium build with blonde or brown hair parted in the middle.

The two other males are described as being of Afro-Caribbean appearance, one being 5ft 11inches tall and the other being 5ft 5inches tall.
