Leamington charity works with others to create more chances for kids to run for free

Leamington charity Kids Run Free has joined forces with two other organisations to further increase the opportunities for children to get involved in sport.

The charity, which runs from an office above Bread & Co in Warwick Street to organise free running events for children every month, is now working with the 365 Academy - an events club for young athletes - and Quadkids - which offers seven-to-13-year-olds the chance to take part in track and field athletics free of charge.

The next event at which people can help raise funds for Kids Run Free will be Raceway’s new middle distance multi-terrain triathlon, the Avenger, at Ragley Hall in Alcester on Sunday June 23. To find out more and enter, visit www.raceways.eu/site/events/the-avenger
