Leamington hosts its first ukulele festival

More than 300 ukulele players are set to strum their way to Leamington next Saturday (July 20) as the town prepares for its first ukulele festival.

Spa Strummers have teamed up with the Newbold Comyn Arms to put on the free concert, which has already attracted players from all over the country. It starts at 12pm on Saturday and will feature guest artistes, performances from various groups and clubs, workshops and a banjolele set by members of the George Formby Society. People are encouraged to take their ukes along and join in. For more information visit www.spastrummers.co.uk or www.newboldcomynarms.co.uk
