Leamington in Bloom winners honoured at town ceremony
AWARD winners in this year’s Leamington in Bloom competition were presented with their trophies and certificates at a ceremony recently.
After the opening address by Enid Simms, chairman of the Leamington in Bloom committee, the awards were presented by town mayor Cllr Yvonne Moore, who congratulated the committee on achieving a Gold Award in the Heart of England in Bloom Competition.
Cllr Michael Kinson, the chairman of Warwick District Council, also presented a cheque for £721 to Rob Pearce, chief executive of Castel Froma from money raised from an open gardens event and a raffle raised a further £100.
