Leamington Muslims protest against cartoon

MEMBERS of the Leamington and Coventry branch of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association are inviting people to sign a petition in protest against cartoons created by students of the Prophet Muhammad and Jesus consuming alcohol.

The images, which were published by the UCL Atheist, Secularist and Humanist Society, have offended the national group, which exists to promote the spiritual, moral, intellectual and physical development of young Muslims in the UK.

The Leamington and Coventry branch has around 40 members. To support the petition, visit www.ipetitions.com/petition/defend-respect-tolerance-towards-religious
