Leamington Parade closed to traffic for rest of the month

Motorists will not be able to drive up or down a long stretch of Leamington town centre’s main shopping street from Monday and for the rest of the month.

The Parade will be closed from the junction with Clarendon Avenue as far down as Regent Street with diversions being set up through Regent Grove and Clarendon Street heading north and the A452 on to Dale Street heading South.

Clarendon Avenue, from the mini roundabout near Christchurch Gardens on Kenilworth Road to the top of Tavistock Street, will also be closed.

The closure is due to last until Saturday October 31.

Warwick Street, between Windsor Place and the Parade will also be closed from Monday until October 31.

A section of Warwick New Road which lies under the railway bridge at the mini roundabout at the north end of Princess Drive will also be closed from Monday October 26 to Friday October 30.

A diversion route, including the stretch of Warwick New Road off this roundabout heading towards Warwick, Rugby Road and Dale Street, will be set up.

Roadworks will also cause possible delays in Hyde Place, Leamington, from Tuesday October 20 to Thursday October 22.

Delays are likely in Coventry Road, Warwick, on Sunday October 25 when Severn Trent carries out works and temporary traffic lights will be in place.

Traffic control will be in place in Guys Cross Park Road, near Warwick Hospital and Arundel Close, from Wednesday October 28 to Friday October 30.

Delays are also likely in Cubbington Road near Lonsdale Road where temporary lights will be in place while works are carried out from Tuesday October 20 to Thursday October 22.

In Brunswick Street, Leamington, traffic control will be in place from Monday to Tuesday while Severn Trent carries out works.
