Leamington pub is crowned best in the country

THE Moorings in Leamington has been crowned as the best pub in the country at its company awards.

And on top of that, it also won Best Pub/Dining Experience in the Eagle Star Awards, organised by the Charles Wells Estate.

These national titles for the canal-side pub restaurant marks yet further award winning success for The Moorings, which was launched by the CD Pub Co just two years ago in 2010.

The pub reveived an unprecedented 100 per cent score in the pub group’s most recent mystery visitor programme.

Charles Harris, operations director at CD Pubs Co said: “To win 2012 Pub of the Year and be the best of the best pubs owned by Charles Wells within two years is a terrific accolade, and we’re thrilled for all our team who work hard and share our commitment to providing excellent food and customer service.”
