Leamington pupils wax lyrical to impress Midlands judging panel

Books and whether they are a thing of the past was the topic of a talk by Flora Garner, a pupil at Trinity School in Leamington, who won the top prize in the Midland Arden Soroptimists International’s Annual Public Speaking competition. Fellow Trinity pupil Chris Pope, who spoke in favour of modern music, came in close behind in 5th place.
The Leamington and Warwick branch of the Soroptomists International sponsored a selection of pupils at Trinity School to take part in the Soroptomists annual public speaking competition and two of them did rather well.
