Leamington Rotary Club’s annual raft race set to launch again

Teams will again take to the Rivers Leam and Avon in makeshift vessels when they take part in the Royal Leamington Spa Rotary Club’ s Charity Raft Race next month.

The event will take place on Saturday June 14 with teams paddling three miles from Jephson Gardens at 12.45pm and arriving at Myton Fields between 1.30pm and 4.30pm.

The club is encouraging pubs, youth groups, organisations and businesses to enter.

Last year’s event raised £7,500 for good causes.
