Leamington scouts earn gold awards
SCOUTS from a Leamington group have proved they are prepared to give their all for the movement and earned the highest award available to them.
Dan Houghton, Tom Ainsworth and Colm McNally of the 1st Heathcote Scout Troop have been presented with the Gold Award by district commissioner Tim Thorpe.
Over the past four years the boys have taken part in various activities and training.
Their next challenge will be to earn the Queen’s Scout Award after they become Explorer Scouts in September.
