Leamington solicitor to run 26 miles for a charity he knows well
For Will Carr, who works as a trainee solicitor for Wright Hassall in Leamington, has begun training for the London Marathon - the first time he will be running a marathon.
The 29-year-old, who returned from a seven-month tour in Afghanistan in 2011, hopes to raise more than £1,500 for Heart of England Mencap, which supports people with learning disabilities - including his girlfriend’s sister.

Hide AdWright Hassall has already pledged to donate £500 towards Will’s fundraising efforts. He said: “I’m hugely grateful to Wright Hassall and to everyone else who has sponsored me already.
“This will be the first time I’ve taken on a full marathon and it’s certainly going to be a challenge, but I’m confident the amazing atmosphere in London on the day – and the fact I’m raising money for a charity I know first-hand does truly amazing things - will keep me going for the 26 miles.”
