Leamington’s Bath Place launches arts sessions for children

Children can have a go at cross stitch, Origami, beading and other activities at a new arts and crafts session starting in Leamington this month.

Bath Place Community Venture has set up the weekly sessions for children aged six to 12 to help them develop their skills in a social environment.

Events manager Mary Power said: “Art is a really important key for a balanced personality and children should discover the experience of creating. Parents would also benefit from this as they would have some extra time for themselves.”

Sessions will take place at the Band Factory in Althorpe Street, Leamington at weekends from 2pm to 3.30pm. Materials will be provided. The date of the first session will be confirmed once organisers have an idea of how many participants will be coming.
