It is being run by Warwickshire CAVA and Mary Portas Leamington Old Town.
A spokesperson for the project said: “Guerrilla Lighting Leamington will transform four or five locations. Sites have been picked that either have significance to the community or architectural merit. After a short briefing session, the guerrillas will take to the streets and under instruction, work together to illuminate each site with an audience following the progress.
“After all the sites have been illuminated, the group will return to base and the images of the results of their collective participation will be shown. A key legacy from the project will be the imagery that is created, that can be used to promote the beauty of Leamington Old Town.
