LOOKING BACK - August 18 edition

I’ve been digging through our files again this week and have come up with a couple of sporting ones for you, which I hope will bring back a few memories.

The young footballers above, who would all be in their late 30s now, were Admirals Junior Football Club Under 10s . They had just won the Mid-Warwickshire Boys League Supplementary Cup and were looking rightly pleased with themselves. In the final in on April 17, 1988 they beat local rivals Hillmorton Juniors 1-0, at AP Sports ground in Leamington.
