Lost Reggie found after seven week search

A dog which sparked a community search after going missing from the canal side in Warwick has been found seven weeks after he was last seen.

Reggie, a two-year-old Lucas Terrier, went missing from Old Budbrooke Road in January, but was found by the side of the road in Warwick on Tuesday - leaving his owners “absolutely delighted”.

After getting her beloved pet home, one of his three owners, Natalie Molina once again thanked the community for pulling together to support them in their search.

Speaking as the pup was being returned, Natalie said: “Reggie was found just this afternoon about two miles from where he went missing, we are absolutely delighted.

“He is safe and well, and a bit shaggier than normal but seems to be in good health and happy.

“We have no idea where he has been for all this time, but we are so grateful to everyone who helped with the search, we are just so happy to have him home.”

When Reggie went missing, a Facebook and Courier campaign spread across the county and a team of people from all over Warwickshire stepped up and offered help.

Reggie belongs to Natalie and the Satchell family, who recently relocated from Chiswick, West London and he went missing as the family was settling into their new life in the area.
