Louise Fordham, who owns Essensuals hairdressers, is one of the businesses taking part in the scheme and is one of the driving forces behind the loyalty card.
She said: “This idea came from Jane, and Jane and I both own hair salons and customers often say after ‘Where can I go?’ and the card really came from that idea because we can now point them to what offers they can get and what businesses are there.”

Louise and Dave Hall, owner of Alberts Menswear, have been helping Jane to push out the loyalty card idea forward.
Louise said: “The business owner keeps control over the discount they offer and people can pick a card up from any trader that is taking part.

“Our bigger aim is to improve the communication between the traders, the council and the BID.”
Jane Mozley, the loyalty card creator, said: “We basically designed the card so that it was run by independents for Rugby people. “We hope the card will encourage rugby people to shop locally and support all independents in the Rugby area.

“The card costs a £1 donation which will be donated to a locally- run charity run by volunteers. The charity will change every quarter. This first quarter all donations will be given to Rugby Paw Prints.”
Current businesses taking part in the loyalty card include; Experience Hair Design, Experience Beauty, Essensuals hairdressers, Shadow Games, Alberts Menswear, Cash & Go, Terracotta, Etcetera, Urban Beauty, Klickers Hair Design, Thorntons Cycles, Terracotta Boutique, Beautique Maison and Oh Oh Sew.
