Man charged with burglaries in Whitnash and Southam

A 38-year-old man has been charged with three distraction burglaries which took place in Southam, Whitnash and Tredington last year.

Adam Jones, of no fixed address, was arrested by officers in Yorkshire last month following an appeal for information on his whereabouts which was circulated to other forces.

After his arrest, Jones was remanded in custody by York magistrates.

He appeared before magistrates in York, yesterday (Thursday) and was further remanded in custody to next appear on Thursday December 8 at the town’s magistrates court.
