Man dies after motorcycle crash

An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, a senior paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance with a BASICS emergency doctor on board attended the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “When ambulance crews arrived they found a motorcycle which had collided with a lamppost. The rider, a man, was in cardiac arrest.

“Land and ambulance crews worked as a team to deliver advanced life support to the man who had sustained significant multiple injuries in the crash.

“Sadly despite their best efforts, nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
