A man has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a lorry between Rugby and Coventry.

The incident happened at around 9.25pm yesterday (Wednesday August 16) on the A46, near to the junction with TGI Fridays in Binley Woods.

The man was taken to hospital with critical injuries.

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage of the incident to contact police at www.warwickshire.police.uk/report or call 101 quoting incident 392 of August 16.
