Memorabilia wanted for reunion

FORMER pupils of a Leamington primary school have been invited to take a trip down memory lane and help celebrate its 50th year.

Our Lady and St Teresa’s RC School in Cubbington is holding the celebration next Saturday to mark the anniversary.

The school in Windmill Hill is hoping lots of ex-pupils will turn out for a bumper reunion for people to share memories.

From 2pm until 5pm there will be a family event with a “posh tea” and light refreshments.

While from 7pm there will be an adults-only knees-up with music, food and refreshments.

Tickets for the night are £3 and must be bought in advance.

Jackie Bradley, of the school’s parent-teacher association, has called on former pupils of all ages to turn up and join in the fun and day of memories.

She said: “Come along and relive those heady days of yesteryear.

“We would be happy for former pupils to bring along their families and reminisce – the more the merrier.”

She also appealed for former pupils who have school memorabilia and keepsakes from their school days to bring them along to show.

“A number of old pictures will be on display – see who you can recognize.

“Will you be able to find yourself?
