Motorcyclist injured on south Warwickshire road

A motocyclist was injured after being involved in a crash with a car in Gaydon.

The man was taken by air ambulance to the University Hospital in Coventry after the incident, which occured on the B4451 shortly after 3.45pm on Friday.

An ambulance, rapid response vehicle, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham in Worcestershire attended.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, had back pain and a broken leg. He was given pain relief and his leg was splinted before he was flown to hospital.
