Motorcyclist taken to hospital after colliding with a lorry near Lutterworth

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after colliding with a lorry near Lutterworth last night (Tuesday).

Police and paramedics dashed to the scene on the A5 after the two-vehicle crash was reported at 9.30pm.

The motorbike rider was taken to the University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire by ambulance and their injuries are “not believed to be life threatening”.

The busy main road was blocked by police as the casualty was initially treated at the scene and the accident dealt with before being reopened later.
