Mums’ group launches petition to save Bath Place

The Networking Mummies group is asking people to sign the online petition, which has been set up in protest to Warwickshire College’s plans to sell the Old Library in Avenue Road to a developer for a large profit.

This has cast doubt over the future of the 40-year-old project.

In a statement on the petition on the ipetitions.com website, the group has said: “We at Networking Mummies HQ have offered to support the community venture anyway we can in their fight to allow it to remain a community building as it states in the deeds it must.

“They do so much there from helping vulnerable people to children’s groups and more, it would be such a shame for this to go ahead.”
