New Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby’s journey from Southam to St Paul’s
THIS was the proud moment when the former Southam and Ufton Rector Justin Welby officially became Archbishop of Canterbury in a service held at St Paul’s Cathedral.
The former Bishop of Durham completed all the necessary legalities to be confirmed into the post, in a service led by the Archbishop of York and overseen by the Provincial Registrar and a number of other legal officials. The Most Reverend Justin Welby will be enthroned in a service at Canterbury Cathedral on March 21.
