New Look to open second store in Rugby

A spokesperson for the retailer said: “I can confirm the Rugby store in the town centre will not be closing and will remain open.

“The store in Elliot’s Field retail park is a new store but we are unable to confirm an open date at the moment.”

Robin Swift, manager of The Clock Towers, said: “It means a great deal that New Look is staying in the centre. Lots of retailers are now choosing to have dual representation in the town - Clarks is another key example.”

Aftab Gaffar, Managing Director of Rugby First added: “We are pleased to hear New Look are retaining the store in the Clock Towers shopping centre, it is common for shops to have more than one site.

“The refurbishment of the Shopping Centre will provide a great opportunity for the current tenants, we can’t wait to see the end result.

“It is important to note that the town centre continues to attract new businesses with many new enquiries each week for businesses wishing to relocate or set-up in the town.”
