New Warwick youth group needs volunteers

A NEW group for youngsters in Warwick is due to open.

Phab is a national charity which aims to encourage people of all abilities to come together and enjoy activities.

They are due to open a club in Warwick for 11 to 17-year-olds and are looking for volunteers to help run it. Phab Clubs organise events such as quizzes, crafts, , barbecues, discos, days out, indoor and outdoor activities and talks.

Phab Midlands development officer Heather Clarke said: “We are delighted to announce our intention to open a Phab Club in Warwick for youngsters of all abilities whether disabled or non- disabled and are seeking volunteers who will be willing to spend a few hours a week to help run the club.

“We encourage members to put forward their ideas and if they wish to help run some of the activities. The Midlands region of Phab organises fun days, weekends away, meanders, fun weekends – all aimed at being fun and socialising.”
