Nine-year-old boy assaulted by man in Rugby park

The boy, who is from Rugby, reports that he was pulled from his bike on Sunday October 16 at around 5.40pm before being assaulted.

He received bruising and soreness as a result of the incident.

Warwickshire Police are appealing for witnesses after the attack.

PC Laura Lawson said: “We have identified a suspect and are eager to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.

“We believe the suspect and the victim are known to each other and this incident was an escalation of a disagreement between the victim and the daughter of the suspect.”
