A tour de force

Congratulations Talisman on a brilliant production of Richard III.

Refreshing to see the characters dressed in the costume of the time and making good use of the innovative and well-designed set.

Lines were clearly delivered and the acting was of a high standard, particularly Graham Underhill as the self-serving Buckingham and Amy Heynes and Chris Ives as the two women who at first stood up to Richard and then allowed themselves to be manipulated by him.

But of course the outstanding performance of the night came from Dave Crosfield as the arch-villain Richard, who commanded the stage from start to finish - a real tour de force.
