Apologies for event cancellation
Midshires Grasstrack Club would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused when their planned event at Leamington had to be cancelled due to a waterlogged field.
The difficult decision was made at 10.30am on the Friday morning prior to the event being staged on Sunday 13. The racing surface was in good condition however the access to the field would not withstand the 100s of vehicles due to arrive over the weekend.
Unfortunately the cancellation was too late to be included in the press however announcements were given over the local radio stations (Touch FM/BBC Coventry & Warks) and postings were entered onto all the relevant websites.
