Appeal success
The recent Poppy Appeal in Ashorne, Lighthorne and Moreton Morrell, including the Jaguar Land Rover and Aston Martin (Gaydon site), achieved another great result for the area.
The overall collection of £2,493.79 that has been sent to the Poppy Appeal Headquarters, is a wonderful tribute both to the generosity of the public and the dedication of the volunteer collectors.
The totals raised were: Ashorne, £517.77; Lighthorne, £636.69; Moreton Morrell, £328.41; Gaydon site, £1,010.92. - John Brigg, (Honorary Organiser), Lighthorne.
