Churches making an Olympic effort

The communities from three churches in Warwick are joining together to hold events during the week leading up to the Olympic launch.

From July 23-27, St Michael’s Budbrooke, St Paul’s Warwick and King’s church Woodloes are holding activities for children and young people. Based on an Olympic theme, St Michael’s and St Paul’s are using Aylesford School to hold a holiday club each morning for children aged 5 - 11 and in the afternoons there will be activities for young people up to aged 16, which will probably take place at Budbrooke in the afternoons.

There are also fun activities being run by King’s Church on Woodloes, these will take place from 10 until 4 in the afternoon. Also during the week there are various other activities being held for all ages, on Wednesday at St Paul’s there is a Knitathon and on Woodloes a Music Night. For further information please contact either of the churches or Pat Kibbler on 01926 496552. - Pat Kibble, via email.
