County council entirely at fault

We will tell you who got it wrong. Warwickshire County Council. Its designs for High Street and Jury Street were appalling from the start, the timing of the work cost the town a fortune because it delayed the work for three months from the agreed timetable and it’s still not complete because it hasn’t finished the tarmacing to the original specifications.

It will blame everyone but themselves but the people responsible are still in post with little likelihood that they will move to positions more commensurate with their talent.

WCC caused a shambles that has caused the cessation of many businesses and the livelihoods of their owners. WCC is not accountable and should be ashamed. In the words of our illustrious MP, they are not fit for purpose.
