Degeneration of attractive street

Leamington has many attractive roads but not the lower northside of Radford Road.

These houses once well cared for by teachers and doctors are now owned by what seems absent landlords, just happy to receive the rents and allow the properties to degenerate into slums, rubbish everywhere, fast food containers, weeds, poorly maintained forecourts, etc.

It does not bode well for careful residents to sell their houses. Also, I thought this was a conservation area? How come a house further up the road has been painted bright blue?

And while I am about it, why has no notice of the new post office been put on the old one’s building?
