Dog owners - don’t forget responsibilities
Despite the startling omission on the part of the Greenway planners to include a bin of any sort along the route, dog owners are reminded that their dogs and their dog’s poo still remain their responsiblity.
It is not enough to merely bag it and leave it on the path. This makes them no better than the owners who do nothing at all.
They should not be under the impression that they have kept up their side of the bargain by using a bag and now someone else will come along and do the rest. If they can’t be bothered to make the full commitment to carrying the bag to a suitable place then perhaps they ought to walk their dog elsewhere. - Louise Merriman, Woodland Road, Kenilworth.
