Evening charges don’t do town any favours
I visited the cinema in Leamington on Wednesday evening arriving about 7.45pm, I found a parking space by the cinema and went to check the parking times and charges (I had thought it would have been free at that time) and was horrified to discover that parking charges applied from 8am to 10pm.
I was not the only disgruntled person that night. Come on the council, give Leamington businesses a chance you are doing nothing to encourage people to visit. There is such a thing as greed. The town is not looking its best with empty shops and a boarded up arcade to say nothing of all the roadworks.
There are plenty of other more attractive places to visit that offer value for money. - Mrs Mann, Bishops Itchington.
