Fingers crossed that sale will go through

The Friends of Helen Ley welcome the proposed sale of the home to Castel Froma. It would bring together two local charities and the Helen Ley home could continue to provide residential and respite services. As the home has been created and supported by fundraising and volunteers from the local area it would be appropriate that it remains a local charity.

We are hoping that negotiations will be completed soon and in the meantime want to thank everyone who has supported the Helen Ley home, in particular over the last difficult 18 months.

We have had tremendous support from local people, organisations, local authorities and the MPs involved, Jeremy Wright and Chris White.

The pressure has been kept up on the MS Society to keep Helen Ley home open and we now have all fingers crossed that this can be accomplished. - Maralyn Brown, Chairwoman, The Friends of Helen Ley.
