Grateful for donations large and small

The plaque in the Pump Room Gardens does not list ALL the donors who contributed to the restoration of the Linden arches (Courier June 15) – nor does it claim to. Only donors giving £500 or more are named. There were about 50 generous but possibly poorer donors who gave less than this sum and are not recorded.
